Agile and Scrum at the Libraries

Agile software development cycle.

Now it’s easy for NC State students and alumni to learn Agile—a set of widely adopted practices that embrace change and adaptability—from professional practitioners.

What is Agile, you ask? Agile is a key practice in both the technology and the business world reaching well beyond software development. Rather than being set in stone from the start, requirements and development solutions consistently and constantly evolve through a relationship between collaborative, cross-functional teams and the product’s eventual end-users.

The NCSU Libraries offers a three-lesson workshop in Agile and Scrum, taught and coordinated by volunteers from Fidelity's Women in Technology Special Interest Group. This is a great opportunity to learn from and network with professionals active in the field. The workshops are free; advance registration is required. NC State students can register through the Libraries website; NC State alumni can register by emailing marian_fragola@ncsu.edu by February 20.
